Catherine Z. Welsh
An experienced trial and appellate attorney, Cathy practices in the area of guardianships, estate planning, probate, family law, adoptions, and criminal defense. Cathy has focused on assisting clients with trust and estate litigation, including probate, will contests, guardianship, and elder abuse.
Cathy served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office, as well as Assistant General Counsel for the State of Oklahoma Department of Human Services, Adult Protective Services. She has also served as an Adjunct Professor and the Clinical Director of the Elder Law Clinic at The University of Tulsa College of Law’s Boesche Legal Clinic.
Cathy has been recognized as a Top Young Layer by the Oklahoma Super Lawyers in the area of elder law. Cathy received the Outstanding Guardian Ad Litem award from the Oklahoma Bar Association Family Law Section in 2008.
